Reassuring Presence

After revealing the sombre image from the ice crystals that appeared on my window, I took a closer look to the upper part of the "tapestry". This image was the first one that caught my eye, probably because the "angelic figure" was relatively isolated from the much denser ice crystals around her. You can see the original capture here.
I increased the contrast and triplicated the layer. In one of the copies, I replaced the darker colors with blue tones and faded out the corners asymmetrically. In the second copy of the initial layer, I increased the intensity and faded out along the "character's" shape.
This "discovery" (which occurred a few minutes after the first one) had a reassuring effect on me... and, of course, determined me to continue my "window study" ;)

Like the Blue works well
"After revealing the sombre image from the ice crystals that appeared on my window, I took a closer look to the upper part of the 'tapestry'." You referred to it as a "tapestry"! Wonderful!
And I love how you used the layers here to create different qualities of fading, and bright blue. It makes the shot very unique. TFS!
