Jure, this is an amazing portrait of your grandmother. The textures and details are incredible, I love the POV from an angle and slightly below her eyes looking up a bit. Great cropping and those reflections in her eye are stunning. I like the dark shadows showing the contours of her face and her pores. I can almost reach out and touch her face. This shot has so much emotional power. Beautiful and dramatic. Give your granny my best wishes. TFS!

Grand parents are great models (^_^). Beauty at all ages requires to be captured.

I like a lot her expression , and sharp eye here. It seems to me you have played a bit too much with the colors. But her eyes are really eye catching.

I would suggest partial desaturation here . i.e. keeping the colored eyes, but desaturating everything else.

In Germany we also say oma (my grandmother is German). Great pov and crop. This one definitely deserves all its acclaim and points. The colors contrast greatly and give a good effect. The fast that she is looking straight ahead is also a good point. Really great work!

P.S. You are right in saying she is "bravely afraid". Fear is not weakness, it is human and incredibly strong when one is at that age. I hope her time won't come so soon. I'm happy you are able to show her her great grandchild. Not many can do that.
