[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There were many other interesting shapes on my window, but I decided to end this series with a "scene" I discovered between the two previously posted "characters"(as you can see on this "quick map").

I modified the color balance, increased the contrast and tried to emphasize what I saw in this picture by combining the techniques used in the other posts from the series (invert and color replace), but I think the natural version has a simple beauty that cannot be matched by any PP.

The title refers to a book written in the 18th century by an Orthodox monk (St. Nicodemus Agiorite). The writing is a kind of ascetic guide to the spiritual fights that take place in every human soul.
I know, there are many people who prefer to ignore even the existence of the soul, but I'm usually happy whenever I manage to remember that I have one.
This time I was reminded by simple ice crystal formation that, no matter the hardships they encounter, our souls are never left alone.

Since in the Christian world the lenting season has started today, I dedicate this post to all of you who (are at least trying to) start a spiritual preparation for Easter.

Hi Anton,

It's a nice and interesting shot. The composition and colors are good. You made an abstract capture : a piece of artwork.

I like the use of colors, composition, and combining the several shots to create this photo. The frame is very interesting and bold, and acts somewhat as the sides of a silver screen in a movie theater, to draw the viewer's eyes to what's going on on the screen. Beautiful detail and clarity, I like the various modes of lighting differing between the side and the middle sections. The composition is nice, especially in light of the theme or idea behind the photo. Very interestng note, you know a lot about Orthodox Christian history. This concept of "Invisible War" within oneself reminds me of the invisible wars many people of different faiths refer to (in Islam it is jihad, in Buddhism it is the struggle to attain Nirvana, etc...). Such is the plight of humans I guess, lol. Great shot with a wonderful concept, TFS!

WOW! Both your natural and processed versions are gorgeous. I've been timid about color and filter "gimmicks" but this ice presents a fabulous palette you've created a real materpiece with it. Thanks for expanding my horizons.
