good morning.. yesterday was one of the worst day i ever had since i came to US. maybe because of the amount of alcohol i had the previous night..or maybe because i am still hanging over from the great weekend i had in Las Vegas last weekend..

i hope its ok, to write my feelings here... i am kinda lonely and lost.. its still chinese new year season back in my home country, and i am really homesick and wanted to cry. there is still a long way to go for me here... i love california, but i love malaysia more.. i'll miss all the things happening at home, and lots of catch up i need to do when i go back next year...

ok, i hope i will feel better today... lets get busy and get more things done today.

this photo is taken at the venetian hotel at las vegas. i just love the words, both on english and chinese... always a happy ending.. i hope so....

...i am too emotional...

Hi Ah Thong,

It always is difficult to adapt to a new country, even when one really wanted to move there. It does get better, believe me. I found that the coming back to the home country was equally difficult, always feeling like one has a one foot in one country and the other in the other country.

About your pic, it is a gorgeous poster and well taken. You just have to be careful with these kind of photographs as it could be taken as copyright infringement by the originator. When e.g. a person would be walking by or the poster is taken in its surroundings with additional elements, the risk of the problem would be a bit smaller.

Hi,
The red colour is eye-catching as well as the beautiful body with tattoos !
That's a poster ? A pity there is noone passing by to give "life" to it.
But anyway a nice realisation.

Hi Ah Thong,

I understand your feeling because I'm also studying abroad..but success comes at a cost sometimes..okok..get to the main point...

This shot at first I thought that you got yourself a model and you asked her pose for you. The colors and the wordings are very meaningful. Good luck to you and remember there's always a happy ending.

Hong

Hi Ah Thong
I sympathise!
I have felt the same, I know how bad it can feel, how empty and painful. Focus on your work and the homesickness will get better. :)
best wishes
Rew

hi Thong,

I can understand how you feel... been there done that... after 12 years... still the same... you will never get over home sick, but it does get better when times goes by. be strong my friend, just be strong. :D

Your photo said a lot about what you're thinking, and I am sure it will be. Good colours, subject and well express.

Take care,
Sweety

hi dear, excellent photo....the red is extremely catchy, i must agree that if you have some movement, or person passing, it would accentuate the photo more....hope you are feeling better...
