[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Ok, so I have posted yet another picture of New Zealand. However it does lend itself very well to photography (If only I could do it justice).

This is the Franz Joseph Glacier and it's located on the West Coast of the South Island. I took this picture in a portrait style in order to catch the reflection in the pond. Unfortunately there was a little breeze so it's not quite mirror like. My friend went back to town via this path some time later and the wind had dropped by this time and he had perfect reflections, as I was sandblasted on the dusty road by all the passing vehicles...grrrr.

I think it may be a little too bright as the top of the peaks are not too well defined but let me know what you think.

this is a beautiful shot, a little small but you have got the good reflections and nice colours of the scenery. Regards, Jean

This is great shot shame Bit small and bright at top could be great image with some good PP work

Yes a bit too bright, but, the ligth gives it a little bit more depth. Its a pitty that only 800 pixels are allowed....
Great compo.

Hi Jim,

Beautiful capture

Well taken

Chris

Nice picture.
Nice colours
Nice reflections.

Mk

This is a lovely shot James, great work. The colours are so real and you can just make out the ice in the middle of the shot.
You are aware that the sky is too bright, and to be honest this is probably down to the setting on your camera.
The reflection is spot on.
Thanks for sharing.
