[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was a bonus shot since I did not have the nikon camera but only my small olympus point and shoot. The sail boat had done just less than 1 km in two hours and then a light breeze lifted and they started to move again but I don't believe they knew were they were headed and the DUCKS were smarter than the sailers (all 4 of them) since they were going WEST to the open water. No PS work done on this shot.
So be prepared all the time when leaving home with your cameras because you never know what you will encounter.

Ils sont vraiment courageux ces hommes a naviguer sur une eau glacé et par temps froids.
J'aime ta belle prise de vue, ainsi que les excellentes couleurs et les oiseaux en bonus.

Allo Rosane, la scène est superbe avec ce voilier et toute cette glace, vraiment pas courant.
Belle couleur et belle netteté, composition très réussie.
Le passage des oiseaux donne encore plus de vie à ta photo.

A nice catch getting the ducks flying in the opposite direction. Good composition and colours. The quality of the small camera is great.

Une belle prise, Rosana, avec de superbes couleurs. Il y a un sentiment de froid dans cette photo qui la rend très intéressante. Bravo!

This gives me a feel of cold winter with blue colors.

I always like Quebec and its people. I spent 2 weeks in Quebec when I was a student.
