[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Took a walk with Diane last sunday afternoon.
And guess what, I brought my camera and guess what I did, take pictures.

This is one of my neighbours's fence coming out of the snow bank. The temperatures are starting to be on the + side. I guess freezing times are over.

Resized, framed, desaturated the cyans on the snow inside the frame.

Really nice close up of the deep snow and your neighbour's fence. I like the texture on the snow.

love it, a good capture Pierre, thanx, M, (*_*)

Cool close up. Great picture it may be warming up but this pic still looks cold. Great details and pov. TFS
Christan

Great sharpness and clairty! It looks so cold my teeth hurt, but don't worry i'll send spring up there to melt it all!
well done,
Shelby

TFS

On a side note, I was surprised today at work when I ran into a coworker who I dont see often and it hit me he looks a lot like you...
Dayna

That sure is the kind of image which makes me real weak...with its beauty. The snow has been captured so well, the tones, hues and textues are so beautifully caught. its simply great. i love it. You ahve a good pov and have used dof very well. Nice jb indeed with superb impact

Bonjour Pierre

Bien vu...
Amicalement
Pascal

A lovely image Pierre! Great subject.
The sky in the background is a bit pale, but I guess there isn't much you can do about it, simply because of the light surroundings...

I hope that spring will soon come to you too!

Cheers,
Anneke

Perfecto and razor sharp Piet! TFS

Like how you are just peeking over to see what's on the other side, without detracting from the intent of the shot.
Nice POV on this and detail as you look along the line.
Its always amazing how a few warm days can melt so much snow.
TFS Pierre

Hi Pierre!
Great winter in your picture! Hope the spring is come, and next time you will capture the fence and the green trees...
Congrats!
Mihaela

Hi Pierre, our mornings are becoming a little cooler but the days are still hovering around the mid 20's. Excellent PP work with lovely detail on the fence. Well composed and framed. I changed that spelling blunder too by the way. TFS,
Dick

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Little Dove’

Hi Pierre,

Everything starts to wake up in Spring. Even this neighbour's fench... :)
Great photo, my friend! Excellent contrast and details!

Very well done

Hi Pierre,
Time flies indeed. It seems like just yesterday everyone was desiring the snow which was taking its time and now it's already time for it to leave!
I can't believe that you actually took your camera and you actually took pictures! :D
Nice composition, I can almost feel the frozen, nicely framed, element (water) due to its perfect sharpness, color and detail.
TFS
Regards,
Lurdes

Hi pierre,
I think that the photo will be much stronger where you cut a part of the right
The texture of the wood is very nice
Ruud

Snow sets off the texture of the weathered split-rail fence. Nice composition with the branches 'drawing' lines in the top portion. Good overall balance.
Cheers
Otto

Bonsoir Pierre :o)
Superbe photo ! J'adore sincèrement (moi qui déteste l'hiver pourtant ;o). L'idée est bonne, la netteté parfaite et les couleurs aussi. Toujours une très beau cadre. Bravo !
