Even if that frighten us, even if that makes us feel anxious, embarassed or sad...
Even if we sometimes prefer not to see, speak or hear about it...
HIV and AIDS exist
It is estimated that about 0.6% of the world's living population is infected with HIV.
AIDS has killed more than 25 million people since it was first recognized on December 1, 1981.
In 2005 alone, AIDS claimed an estimated 2.4–3.3 million lives.
more than 570,000 of that were children
Still, there rest about 18 million orphans whose parents' were taken by AIDS.
THINK, how YOU can help them!

About photo technique: I tried a long exposure (20 s) – so in an almost dark room I placed my camera on my desk (I don't have a tripod), sat in front of it, used self-timer and tried not to move and only changed the position of hands one time (after about 10s of exposure). After in photoshop I changed everything appart the ribbon to b&w. In Picasa I added effect that blured everything around my face (sorry, I have a polish version – don't know how it is called in english), I added a simple frame at the end.
Photo was inspired by an article in polish newspaper. |

great message and a nice way to share it. I'm not a fan of partial desaturation but here it helps to enhance the red ribbon.
Thanks for sharing... Don't forget : it still exist!
