While visiting our son in Langley BC, He took us to a place called White Rock, was mid 80F and this was part of the BG along the walkway.

White Rock (see WS) is just a large rock on the beach painted white.

White Rock
White Rock (population: 18,250) is located on the Semiahmoo Peninsula, about a 45-minute drive south from Vancouver, and just minutes from the Douglas (Peace Arch) US border crossing. This quaint, oceanside community is known for its year-round mild climate, a relaxed atmosphere, sizeable 8-km (5-mi) sandy beach(es) as well as a 2.2-km (1.2-mi) promenade from which to view magnificent Semiahmoo Bay. White Rock is named after the 441-tonne (486-ton) rock that rests of the shores of the beach, apparently left when glaciers receded thousands of years ago. Native legend holds that the white rock was hurled across the Strait of Georgia by the son of a Salish sea god in love with a Cowichan maiden. He declared, “Where this rock lands, there we will make our new home and establish our new tribe.”

Hey WT, yes you'ce certainly got a splash of color here. Nice composition. Foreground looks nice against the background. Well balanced. Nice colors and a pleasant image. Cool frame by the way. Thank-you.

Ha, I've been there in October 2000 or 2001.
And on the upside al those woods had splashes of colour. O my, now I want to go and have a look in my album to see if I can scan something. On the downside, we did not get any instruction about freezing in the night, so when we woke up we had to figure out how to "unplug" our camper/RV.
Wonderful picture, wonderful frame!

Beautiful colours, and I love the internal white frame...I've never seen that before and now want to rush off and try that with some of my photos! God bless.

How are they fluffy! And pales! I enjoy that scene! So colorful background around...
The sun have a great effect here!

Hi Wayne,
Sorry I missed this one earlier . . . great control of light, and I love the splash of red. Attractive framing here, Wayne; it really makes your shot stand out.
All the best,
Karen
