Magical indeed. The deep purples here are amazing. Have not seen this kind of sunset before. Very, very nice.
And the contrast with the dark mountain side realy makes it. Great composed shot of one moment that I would like to see for myself one day...
As to the comments you have recieved above I would say that being prolific is not important, what is important is capturing those moments that realy makes us glad to be alive.

saludos,
Ralph

The sunset and a mountain. What more could you ask for. These two subjects seem to harmonize together. A peaceful place to reflect, to remember, and to rejuvenate.
Good compositon and colours. Well done.
I Per enjoys this one Marco.

Never mind Marco, just keep them coming. I knew instantly this must be Estrela again. And I sure don't mind at all. So if Per says your subjects are limited, I say that you damn sure know how to shoot them ;o). Bravo, and : glad you're back. TFS!
And believe it or not, Marco, I have just posted one with a few remaining rays of that same terrific Mediterranean sun. You can feed me as many as you like, I'll never get enough. Don't worry about your lack of diversity, faithfulness and steadiness are great qualities. And variations on a theme can express more deep diversity than a mercenary's scattered bursts at constantly moving targets. Someday we'll stand up there side by side and shoot sunsets in stereo.
And that rock on the left reminded me of this great song by Harry Chapin - please read it carefully.

A Serra da Estrela por vezes consegue ser mágica... O por do sol está lindo e o sol perdido na névoa parece flutuar. È de facto um momento muito bem captado com cores lindas. Parabéns!!

A gorgeous moment Marco. Looks like such a beautiful spot. You did a wonderful job on this one. One of the many things I've learned from TL is that Portugal is a beautiful place. Thanks for sharing with us :-)
