Great image !! and great taste to. :-)
Good color and DOF. POV also oke.
The light is a little bit too much in the foreground, where it is nearly over-exposed.
All in all a very good photo.

It's into my intention to taste it... I knew about that smell till a couple of years... The problem is that i will probably be alone to taste it, cause i don't know person who want to try it with me in cause of the smell...
I will buy one in the Chinatown and will go to a park to taste it :)
We cannot really say What a powerful subject! The fruit have it's limits of esthetism... But you take it well! It's a good challenge to present it into an appetizing angle like a kiwi slice who present vivid colours. But considering the subject... I believe you do something good!

well, the light and the fruit is just great, and i must say i loovee this fruit!DURIAN. its native to ours. the pungent smell and the delicate yet strong taste would make your body heat up in a matter of minutes! not recommended to people with highblood pressure.
One more thing, there must be certain technique to open this properly.

Totally unfamiliar with this food but certainly looks good in your photo. Very nice macro work. As someone mentioned, the lighting may be a bit strong in the FG, but overall very VERY nice. The colors and tones here are awesome and great detail. TFS

You managed to reproduce very well the soft internal texture of the durian. The lighting is very good. Luckily the smell of the king does not come over the internet:)

About picture... it is just like usually very nice with expo of the subject, also I like it so much intensity and angle of light, angle of shot compare to in and outside of the fruit. So composition is great and thank You for this presentation... Regards - Tomasz
