[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is Joshua, my nephew and Monika's brother. I have desaturated the colours to give the photo a black and white effect.
I have included the colour version in the workshop.

Very nice, Claudia! Two things I really like about this...first your pp work. At first, I thought it was a completely grayscaled image, but then I noticed that it wasn't entirely black & white. You left just a hint of color, nice touch.

Your use of fill flash here is very well done. Nice modeling on the face, not flat nor overly harsh shadows/hotspots. I would be surprised if you used the onboard flash for this...care to share your lighting set up?

I must say I like this one better than the photo of Monika. She's a lovely subject, but I like the tighter comp, plus the near-b/w makes the background not as distracting here.
