A capture I was trying to acheive yesterday - this puts mine to shame. You have retained the texture in the petals which could have so easily hae ben burnt out. The lighting is spot on as is the final composition.

Excellent photography, very detailed and most of all superb control of lighting (very difficult with white flowers). I find with long exposures and small apeture you generally get better lighting and depth of field, just like you did for this photo. TFS

nice hsot of this lovely rose. The color is so pure and you did excellent on the exposure on the whites. The DOF is great the whole flower is nicely in focus. I would love to have seen a the entire rose, but all in al it is very nicely composed.
