Hi Trekkers,
Everywhere I look now Spring is in full bloom. Meadows, pastures, roadsides, flower boxes, yards, sidewalks, etc. are alive with brilliant colors and the magic of new life. I try to identify the flowers but I am no botanist. With limited time I find many pictures and references that are close but I am afraid of the ridicule I will receive for a misnomer so many of the flowers go unnamed. Time is short for the wildflowers as they display their brilliance to attract insects for pollenation so I am constantly pulling to the side of the road to walk and photograph the magnificent splendor of Spring while it lasts. Along with critiques of my photos I really do appreciate any help in identifying the plants.
Ciao,
Jim |

Beautiful flowers, idea and composition, Jim! Have a happy spring!!! What a pity the front leaf has that hole; I would actually crop it out. Let me try to make a workshop.
P.S. I even created two! - You see how I was inspired by your photo?!
