u have a very interesting intro as well as a very interesting first photo to start off with :)

i remember this line "vanity, definitely my favorite sin" from 'the devil's advocate'... hehehe, you got me there!

let's come to the photo now...

first of all, i am impressed with your note, its a very healthy thing to include such notes with photos, its always wise to let others know the circumstances under which a particular photo is taken..

from the border around the photo to the partial desaturation, i can clearly see your excellence in computer graphics..

the photo, from a composition perspective, is also nice, with just the right amount of exposure and tonal balance (blacks).. its just plain impressive. i am looking forward to seeing more photos from you along with informative, interesting notes such as the one you have posted here :)

I like the way you allowed only the eyes to have colour. Although the image is dark, it is suitable for the subject.
