[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Kadıköy port and Haydarpaşa train station (on the right), viewed from the lighthouse in Kadıköy.
Long exposure time (significantly more than the time the camera measured for this F-Stop) lead to flat water, very bright lights and haloes, and a wonderful reflection thereof in the water.
I didn't see it when I took the picture, but boy was I happy to see the Cassiopeia in the dark sky after developing the picture (it's a constellation famous for its "W"-like shape). The very long exposure probably contributed to that as well.
I wanted a perfect picture, without any light coming from the side affecting it, so I used a sun protector. The specific sun protector that I used maybe didn't suit the lens, and that may explain the black edges.
