Window light with black back ground. Incense sticks placed under the tulip for smoke. Edited in PS to remove the smoke under the tulip to get this effect.

Hi Raja,

How did you do that. It looks cool.

TFS,
Hong

Rajasekar,
Great idea! I like the results. A smoking tulip....the first I have ever seen. I like the detail in the smoke against the dark BG. It reminds me of a venus fly catcher snapping closed so quick that it smoked!
I'd like to see it a little closer up to see even more detail in the smoke. Good work,
Scott

Very nice.

Very creative.

TFS

Wow, what a creative idea and great execution! Next you'll have to photograph some "smoking hot ladies!" : )
Great work and beautiful compo!

Hi Rajasekar,

This is a really clever idea and brilliantly executed.

The "Portrait" of the tulip on its own would have been excellent, with really nice lighting, but the addition of the smoke is a really imaginative twist and you have done it really well.

I love this!

Nigel

What a great experiment and pp work, Raj! I like it a lot! It's like Magda's tulips w/ some spice, the smoke is so beautiful w/ the BG. You are very creative! TFS

Very interesting experiment! The concept is creative! I find the image a bit noisy and you could have improved the composition by placing the tulip in the third of the image! But the result remains spectacular! Well done!
Michel

Hi Rajasekar

Congrats on an excellent result. This is wonderful work. TFS.

Very nice capture.
I love the way you've captured the smoke.

Tom

great idea and well executed !! bravo...

Excellent! I am glad you included your note. This would make a fine poster or greeting card for Valentine's day or a prelude to romance. Smokin'. :) The wisps of smoke are captured perfectly in that light.
