[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This pair of crocogulls are ready to go fishing in the lake to catch their daily fish allowance. They are looking for a place to build a nest on the ground as their flying days are over. Who knows but the next generation of crocogulls may sprout wing as they adapt to their environment. They are much less fearsome than their forebears, and can be hand fed without fear.

This is a real fun theme, Joan... I'm glad you created it! I really like these crocogulls - you did a great job on blending the crocodiles and the gull heads.
But I think you should have used another, more realistic background - they appear to be floating now.
Points for the note and the crocogulls.

As Frank said, a realistic background, he's right but.....this "new" animal (sometimes men find new species...) is very well created by you. Even the name is really funny....crocogulls...ha ! Nice experiment and you succeeded well, original, Joan !

LOL Your imagination is just great. Who ever would have thought of Crocogulls. The gulls heads are so sharp and full of details. You have blended them in so well with the crocs body. The background blur is good, but I don't think the rock needed it. But then again, this is supposed to be an imaginary zoo with weird animals and effects. This challenge of yours has really taken off, and a fun one at that.BTW that seagull looks like it would be a good post by itself one day.

This new breed looks just too 'cool' they definitely are less dangerous with smaller mouths, can they fly? (grin) EXELLENT idea EXCELLENT composition, very well done!

Very well done and quite original. It also reminds me that I still have to contribute to this zoo. But acts like this are hard to follow. I like the note too.
