the dark dots on blue are birds - an immense flock of crows crossing the sky. only this time they managed not to spoil the exposure completely.
these colorful displays (inverted skies) usually last 30-90 seconds, reaching their climax somewhere in the middle of this interval for just a few moments. it's not difficult to capture them but you have to pay attention and to take many shots. manual control of exposure is preferred and a [neutral] gradual filter to block some of the light coming from the bright horizon if necessary. |
