So there is a little bit of a story behind this one.

After visiting the flower park (keukenhof see yesterdays posting) we went down to the nearest beach.

I saw this young lady bounding down to the water, click goes the switch on the camera. I was expecting a dive into the water, but instead, upon making contact, i think she decided the water was a little cold. You can see her trying to avoid the droplets she has created.
Given the momentum she had, she couldn't quite stop and ended up running in, up to her waist before she could turn around and run back out.
Made me chuckle thought i'd share.

BTW can you believe thats the north sea, look how calm it is, wow.

PP done :

- crop
- neat image
- added a little contrast
- added border and title
- resized for web

As per usual , any comments, critiques and or workshops, very welcome and very much appreciated.

Hi my friend,
I can say this one is a creative shot...

I thinked much about how the waterdrops appeared on the image...
was it coz of the wave or she did it?

Hi Colin,
What an amazing action shot. Has it all, a lovely lady, her posture - you can see the hesitation - and all those droplets flying around her and hard to avoid.
Lovely that the sea fills the whole picture and wonderful framing.

We were also in Noordwijk that weekend - just have a look at my picture taken from Huis ter Duin 11th floor (just look not visit). Don't know how to make a quick click link - sorry.

Hello Colin,
Unusual and eye-catching picture. I like the movement and the DOF. Interesting story as well, but you have to read it to understand the title (to me, the woman doesn't give the impression of being unable to decide). I'd rather call your photo "splash!". It's more neutral...
TFS & kind regards,
Erik
