[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the Q1 tower, the World's Tallest Residential Tower, as well as the 20th tallest building in the world!
The Q1 is 322.5 metres tall and is located in sunny Queensland's Surfer's Paradise on the Gold Coast. It was built to look like the Olympic torch.
The view from the top at night is awesome. I will post some photos of the view soon.

Some interesting facts about the Q1:
- There are 80 levels.
- There are 526 apartments.
- There are 12,840 square metres of site area.
- There are 9,000 square metres of landscape area.
- There are 1,200 square metres of commercial area.
- There are 11 lifts and 3 lift cores.
- There are 360 degree views.
- There is a 400 person capacity.
- The Q1 spire is one of the world's longest at 97.7 metres in length.
- The Observation Deck has one of the world's fastest elevators taking you from ground to level 77 in 42.7 seconds.
- On a clear day you can see up to 80 kilometres, which is from Brisbane to Byron Bay.
- There is 1,000 kilometres of electrical cabling in the lifts of Q1 and this is enough to stretch from the Gold Coast to Sydney!
- The Q1 building is taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the Chrysler building in New York City.

Hi Claudia. Good POV of this tall building. It is beacause of surrounding buildings difficult to capture in its entirity. This composition has excellent DOF and is clear from base to the top. Good work. Murray.
