[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Wandering through the site where the poet William Wordsworth was buried in the family plot, I noticed some unusual trees. The barks were in the most part detached from the main trunk, but I was attracted not just to the varied colouration but to the tactile texture of the wood. The image may appear pixalated but in fact that is part of the texture - lumpy.

I don't know the name of the tree species but am wondering if just by the sight of this image someone can identify it. Not a conifer, but very tall (30m +)and still being spring, there were no leaves so am unable to provide a better description.

I'm not sure what the tree is, but I adore the texture of the trunk. Very good macro shot with lots of details and colours. Well done.

Hello Celina,I have a shot very similar to this and like you I couldn't identify the tree,so I haven't posted it just yet.
I like your treatment of the shot with a nice variation in colour. The pattern comes over well.
Best wishes Jean.

Pretty impressive texture shot Celina. I can form many objects out of it. I can see a kangaroo, a man, a woman, a lion. the nature pixelation as you have mentioned works well. I don't know if it will still look good if it does not look pixelated.

Hi Celina, very nice textures and colors.Congrats!
Regards,Chris!
