Alexander Boswell driving a 1952 Ferrari 500/625 heads towards Fordwater at the Goodwood Motor Circuit racing for the Goodwood Trophy.

The Goodwood Revival is staged for 3 days every September, it is a time capsule of the fifties and sixties with racing around the classic circuit. The circuit is untouched by the modern world and the cars are raced by famous drivers from the past and present. Many of the visitors wear appropriate period clothing and modern vehicles are banned from the circuit perimeter.

I have just sent off for tickets for this years revival meeting and thought I would post a shot from a previous years race.

Hi,Roger!
Great dynamic picture!
Wonderful idea and colours!
Best Regards!
Yuri

These shots are hard to do - panning to follow a moving object is something I haven't yet tried but it takes real coordination. I think you've done well here, the car itself is well placed in the frame and reasonably sharp.
Looking at that car it's incredible how vulnerable the driver is! No wonder the sport was so much more dangerous.
