Its been a bit huh? Took this shot a week or so ago. he shot is all manual with natural lighting through a window.
Post production is a bit of healing brush. A B/W adjustment layer masked at the eyes and a bit at the lips. The eyes are sharpened a bit, as well as the lips, and a few light spots in the background were burnt to send them away.
I kind of like the grain... Well... I did, at first... Now it is getting annoying... Oh well...
This is my first attempt at selective color portraits (or anything for that matter). How did it turn out? |

I think you've tackled the eyes and lips issue well, the selective colour is subtle but works well to draw in attention.
Background and depth of field are both well managed.
I'm not a big fan of too much healing brush / re-texturing of skin, although I think I have to accept that it is the photographic norm now, we prefer images that present an ideal rather than reflect the truth - but you've handled that aspect of PP well also.
Good shot all around.
