[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I've become quite committed to environmental issues lately. When I think of what we're doing to our planet I get this knot in my stomach. So I'm trying to do my share in one of the few ways I know how, which is taking pictures. I've started on a series of images of which this one is the first. I thought I'd call the series No Time to Waste but I've not quite decided and I'm open to suggestion.
Surprisingly, the biggest problem with this shot was actually finding a suitable hour glass :-) Other than that, it involved a wonderful day in the mountains, one (not so wonderful) trip to a local dump and a couple of hours by the computer experimenting in PS.
Thanks for any advice, thoughts or critique!
