we that are left

Another shot taken on ANZAC day (see my last posting), taken during the memorial ceremony. People whose lives have been touched by world wars, wearing medals of partners who fought, standing in silence while remembering those who were lost.
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them." |

Another nice Anzac day shot Doris. You captured the spirit of our elder generation as they remembered. This is a good photojournalism one , focus on the 3 faces and just a glimse of another lady with closed eyes. Do the hairdressers up there use a little green in their senior rinses or have you cleverly isolated the subjects by burning the background??
