Beautiful portrait with intense eye contact. Good light and textures, and a good choice to make it black-and-white. A shame you cropped out her eyebrows perhaps, but overall a good crop and composition also.

This image.... hmmm, to me, is full of thought. Such spoken eyes and I like the way the mouth is almost crooked, almost parting, and almost forming an expression... but it makes none of those, just so partial. This one of those images where you cover the eyes, and the face has a new expression, or cover the mouth... or remove the hand etc.
Point is, this is an immaculate portrait. Truly is one of the best I've seen. TFS!!
Biance.

Beautiful model and portrait, very nicely posed and cropped. The focus seems to be slightly off, as the fingers are sharp and the eyes are not; in a strange way though, this works very well for the picture. Nice eye contact and skin texture.

I really like your portraits. You have a great style that I admire. Your crops are always interesting and your use of black and white make your photos special. This is no exception. Great crop, expression, lighting and detail. I like the way you interacted with the face and hair, combining them but maintaining them separate by color. Nice work!

Lieke, I like mood and expression.
B&W really worked well here.
Composition is great, as well as the nice mixture between the dark and light shades.

Hello Lieke,
Great pic, I think it rather annoying to crop the eyebrows..
but it is very perfect B&W.

Absolutely wonderful. Everything is how it should be here. you seem to have a real knack for cropping just right. I hope this is not an indication of your real mood. Keep up the good work.

Beautiful photograph. There is a true story in her eyes. It is simple, on a deeper plain than words. A gutteral feeling, that takes you.
When I saw this picture, I immediately thought "I can relate."
I still don't know what it is that I can relate to, but I know that I have been there, and felt the same.
Very good composition. I love ECU's, and the hand stays connected to the body, an undeniable part of the subject. Often, when the elbow is cut off, a subjects arm/hand can look as though it is another persons, but some how you avoided that here. And it is very well put together.
I wonder though, what part of the subject is in focus exactly? I would think the eyes, but they look a little soft to me... It looks like the hand/mouth may be in focus.
In a shot like this, I would think you would want the eyes to be in focus (they don't say they eyes are the windows to the soul for nothing). If the eyes aren't in focus, a nice little effect to get out of it is to apply a soft haze filter. It will give the photo a dreamy, contemplative, look, while drawing the viewer away from looking for a sharp spot.
Besides that. Spectacular photo.
