Hello Anneke,
The use of this exploded frame does work so well. It is one of my favourite methods. After the hen had stopped coming out of the frame, I was able to tell how detailed and sharp it was! Well done!

Excellent sharp-coloured and detailed chicken!

I've been fascinated by this Out-Of-the-Box framing myself. In fact I have one framed this way on my recent posts.

I just wished you didnt cut her left foot. I want to see it out of the box too, creating an illusion she's coming out of it instead of just peeking out. Everything else is "A" ok.

Very nice Anneke,

The effect that the frames gives and the black background, is like a 3D effect and makes this chicken come out.

The sharpness is very good. and the detail in the feathers are very nice.

Beautiful capture. Good sharpness and details.
I have to agree with Linda about the foot. But it does appear that her head is popping out of the image. To keep the perspective, I think it would have been better to leave the tail inside the frame since the foot should be before the tail :-).
But what do I know :-)

Bonjour Anneke,
I like this one for two reasons. The chicken (any idea of the breed?) has beautiful feathers and the POV is perfect to get the best out of it. But what draw my attention immediately was the framing making this a very lively portrait. A very attractive animalist picture.
