[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
"can't reach... i just can't... but i want it..."

this was my entry for our friend's little contest wherein a roll of tissue paper is the subject. the original plan was this roll should be in motion with a breakdancer. unfortunately, he didn't show up and i have to come up something new with a very limited time left.

waking up with no breakfast, i mounted my camera on a chair, prefocused and open the bathroom door and rolled the tissue. next was firing the shutter on a timed remote setting. ambient lighting was used only coming from the bathroom and hallway.

and it won first with a cash prize of $75. :)

Hi Jeff, good work and very creative idea.. one thing I don't get is why the arm is so low as if the person is on the floor rather than reaching the roll from above ;) it is a well executed shot anyway..

I love this!
Technically well done, you have managed not to have any lens distortion which in a confined space can be quite a challenge. Congrats on the prize -well deserved. The person is on the floor because he fell off the loo trying to reach the paper. Hang onto that loo roll in future.
