A very phallic feel to this shot, don't know what a psychologist would make of that... :-)
This is a shot from the archives..? I kinda do that too from time to time when I lack inspiration or feel a bit down in the dumps.
Anyway, well composed, so very glad this wasn't centred and I like the low POV. The bluey-neony bits stand out well and add a lot of interest.
Well, hope your day/weekend lift your spirits - take care!

Ack, sorry to hear that Diana. I do like the contrasts between the bright blue highlights on the glass and the right edge of the round stand, with the warmer beige colors in the background and shadows. Here's what I might have done to give the shot more impact: maybe balancing that tall perfume bottle with something else a little shorter or smaller at the left would help to make a stronger composition, OR you could use a background that has a bit of a pattern or various tonalities to make the perfume bottle pop out. What was your shutter speed here? I do sense a little bit of camera shake, but nothing that cannot be fixed :) I do like how you took a picture of a mundane object in that way though to express your mood. Excellent lighting used. What did you use as the background? TFS! And I hope you start to feel better soon!

Hi Diana,
colors, comp and exposure are very good.
Sorry, your're oof.
Go outside, lots to shoot, remember, don't look for it, look at nothing, before you know it, you'll see what to capture.

Green Baron calls this the "photographer's block"!
I think every once in a while we all suffer from that....
Just let it pass by... you'll feel tops again in no time with lots and lots of inspiration!
I think this is a funny image... does it show the reflection of a tv??
I really do like the colors of the background!!
Well.. I do hope you'll cheer up soon!!!
Take care!

Hello Diana,
For me it is very good, the angle that you did is able to seem him different than the people would like to see, that depends on like you sees it.
I like colors of the glass in syntony with this blue neon. His Bg combines well still more coming in it degrades leaving the display the glass from top to bottom.
I like the composition, it cleans, of good colors.
Beautiful visual!
Happiness!

Well, this is funny... where Mike thinks it's oof, imo it is not. Funny... because of what I wrote on your forget-me-nots.
Must be my eyes.
I know the feeling, Diana. Just don't force anything, that won't work. Perhaps try doing things you've not done as yet (or not that we know of ;o)). For instance, try panning along with everything that moves. Cars, bikers, birds, you name it, you pan along ;o)). It's not easy, but it sure will take your mind off of other things as you need to focus on the job ;o).
What I like here is the angle, the backdrop hues and the reflection in the bottle. Err, the lot, it seems. TFS
