Here i had a chance to have some fun with a decent camera and actual lighting equipment. I know it's dark but i was just experimenting. Let's hear some suggestions.

it doesn't bother me that the photo is so dark, actually, I like that a lot!!
I only notice that the man's face isn't complete sharp. And I think that when you have a dark picture like this, sharpness is very important!
I like the composition and colors very much!! Great work!

Oh by the way, I've made a workshop with this photo. I cropped it tighter and sharpened the face a little bit. What do you think about it?
Nice low-key lighting. I experimented with a similar set-up a week or so back. Also did a music video in similar lighting. I like the effect.
You did well. Something reflective was behind him though, his back arm is lit a bit... Luckily, it would be easy to photoshop out.
It's a simple subject, but I just love the lighting so much...
I would almost photoshop the lit bit under his elbow out as well. That would look pretty cool.
