excellent colours and a great silhouette, this is a really calming/peaceful picture.

My only one comment would be the composition on the left. I would have liked to see just a little bit of space to the left of the tree. As it is the picture feels a little cramped with the branch touching the side of the frame. It almost looks like the side of the frame is bending the branches down (hee hee)

A lovely sunset shot!
The colours are really lovely, creates a very warm summery feeling. The composition would have been perfect if the entire tree had been in the frame, but nevertheless a lovely capture!

Hi Fran... lovely sunset! nice silhoutte... and as Andrew mentioned... the composition is the niggly bit...that tree should be more to the right... and then the sun wouldnt be so centred either... but good try, you captured a nice one here..I do like the 3 layered look, being the FG, water, and sky...

Ahhhhh...excelent, a place to be! Perfect sunset, indeed "just before the sizzle":) Great orange and gold colours. Almost perfect composition. Why almost, if there was a bit space between the tree and the frame it would be a "perfect" composition INHO. Anywhay still a super posting my dear! TFS.

Hi Fran. Strong colours of the sunset, stronger silhouettes and a very strong diagonal. I think showing the whole tree may have left you open to crticism by some who would have said that it was too centred. Well done and TFS,

I enjoy here at the horizon the so tiny line of black! Of course the colors and tree are excellent. Like we see often... But that little line bring a detail, a difference! It's fun to realize!

A lot of sunset photos are just that sunset photos. Yours however is deep lush color, love the silhouette tree and forground. Great shot kiddo!
