To Hauke Fisher....
As usual, when there is a ceremony, everybody has to be there. Marched in from every part of the base the platoons are positioned. Flags are hoisted, military music is playing, saluting....the whole nine yards. Even if its smouldering hot!! And all of this happens in a uniform one hardly ever wears (only at ceremonial happenings) and shoes that hurt ones feet.
After a while one the sounds fade away and the uncomfortable suit and shoes start to fight a way into ones mind. That's the point one starts to think: "bla bla bla...hurry up...my feet hurt...it's hot...let's go"
