[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took my daughters on their first hike up Dog Mountain today. I took this shot of Malia on the backside on the way down gazing at the view. I have posted other photos of this place on TE and TN, but I liked this one of Malia enjoying the hike. It was a 7 mile loop trail, VERY steep, it took us 3 hours the hike the 3 miles to the top!

Brightness and Contrast, digital camera noise removal, USM 25% after resizing.

hi there, this isnt about the flowewrs to me...its about the very steep grade....... you see, heights freak me out, you captured the steepness better than anything, its scary steep, bottom line.......perfect image to me...one i would be proud of..........cheers,scott

What a fantastic POV! The view is magnificent with endless mountains as far as you can see and the slopes are sooooo steep!
