[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A picture I'm proud of... a picture I managed to take with a lot of effort, kneeling over and over again, on the sidewalk in front of someone's house or in the woods, trying to find a good enough angle, a good enough light, trying to properly focus and properly compose it. Eventually, I think I got it right. I hope soon I'll be able get a better camera and cut down on this effort, though :-)

The flower is a violet. They are simply amazing, as many other flowers are in the spring, when the brown of the cold season gets covered up by the explosion of a fresh green splattered with all the other colors.

I hope you'll enjoy it.

Oh yes, this definitely works for me. I like the simple color pallate of green and blue. The repeating pattern of flowers works well, too. And tghe frame brings it all home. Nicely done.

Hi Iulian,

Lovely orchid. You captured very sharp, fine detail texture of petals and I like the way you composed it, by putting other out of focus flowers as BG. My opinion, the frame is a bit distracting the whole image. But I believe it is your preference of seeing this picture. It doesn't matter, but it is lovely picture.

P.S. You should not worry to much about getting a better camera. it will not matter how much money you spend on a camera macro photography will always have a shallow depth of focus. You are doing very well with the camera you have now :~)
