How to transform a simple bench in abstraction thing? A friend seeing the result, told me that it look like a little heavy stool! But what we see is not always what we get. The locals from Montreal will recognize the public bench probably and behind a cement wall. But it's turn of 180 degree and with some distortions on it :) It make a curious result when we know every lines was right without any curve before... TO be clear... You see the back of the bench and the wall behind....

Comment transformer un simple banc en truc abstrait? Une amie en voyant ça, m'a dit que ça avait l'air d'un genre de tabouret indestructible! Mais ce que l'on croit voir n'est pas tout a fait comme il se doit. Ceux qui connaissent bien Montréal et ses détails ont peut-être reconnu le dossier d'un banc public avec derrière un mur de béton? Il est vrai que j'ai jouer de quelques distortions et d'une inversion de 180 degrés :) Cela fait un drôle d'objet quand on sais qu'originallement il n'y avait que des lignes droites... Pour être clair, vous voyez le dos du banc et le mur derrière...

Hi Alain: Interesting abstract with attractive subdued colour. The symetry is in a perfect pattern with the lines being very easy on the eyes..... great idea and original for me .....thanks Roman

Old worn out textures like this are always attractive, provided one can find a good way to display...
