[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Behind each doors sleeps an old man or woman. The rays of the rising sun awaits this hall to be filled once again with hopes, that next day will live to see the rays again..

Taken 4:30 am at the third round of our night duty in one of the Home for the Aged here in Vienna.

Enjoy..

Hello Clayton !

Welcome to TL. A very interesting subject and very appropriate note. For these people it is indeed their last home. Very sad when you realise for many of them, they receive no visitors......

Sometimes they just wish they will not see the next morning, instead of waiting in vain for a friend , a family member to vsiit them.

Technically , I wish , it would be a bit sharper, and we could see just a bit more details of the hall. I am trying a little WS. Hopefully , it will be usefull and worthed (^_^).

Cheers!
Robert

PS. You will have to accept Workshop although in your profile (^_^) . WS done .

June 3rd :

WS sent . Have fun. And do not hesitate to experiment. It is the fun way to learn and improve. I am taking photos for more tahn 35 years, and I am still learning . With digital photography . a whole new world remains to be discovered.

Welcome to TL.
A good photo to start with. Good composition and perspective.
And Robert did a terrific job in sharpening it.

Now this is something different all right - the silence of the home, the loneliness behind those doors seeps through in the hallways. The room at the end of the hallway with the daylight. Magnificent - could be a tad sharper but I imagine you cannot go walking around with your tripod at that time of night !

Keep em coming !

Marleen
