This image was taken the same day as my previous post. I just left the Port Terminal, and was now heading back to my hometown after a good night of sleep and a quick visit at the terminal, to ensure terminal, trucking operations were going as planned.

Here I am heading down the hill on Anse à Benjamin road. Farms are surrounding the sector of what used to be Ville de LaBaie ( now merged with Chicoutimi , Arvida, Jonquière and numerous small villages to create the city of Saguenay ). So technically this is part of the city of Saguenay !

About the title, Saguenay Green I believe is still a catalog Marine paint color. Why? Well Alcan ( for Aluminum Company of Canada ) used to have a fleet of ships to carry their primary products from their various terminals, mines, plants and facilities all around the world. They had their own and chartered numerous vessels too. For many years, they were all painted with this green color. As they were the only shipping line using that color , they named it Saguenay green (^_^). I worked personnally on a ship that was Chartered by Alcan for a few years (^_^) Good old sweet memories..... That is a long story...

By the Way you see one of the Alcan Plant in the Background. To find more about Alcan visit their website: here .

Technically: Cropped the image. Note I made my focus on the farm, blocked it , than took a few steps on my right to add the fence and the bush in my composition. Adjusted tones and luminosity, filtered, resized, framed, and added title.

An hour later driving down Highway 175 toward Quebec City, the cloudiness decreased and the sun was back.

June 4th, I added another view as a Workshop .

Have a great Day!
Robert

Beautiful landscape. According to me, the post is in the right position and sends everything else far back. Gives more distance. Good prespective. Congratulations!

Such a fantastic view in which sense of closer and farther is nicely depicting. An excellent natural scenary with freshness of greenry. Wonderful shot Robert, well done.

Hello Robert,

Beautiful green scenery. Nice POV and composition. TFS

Vandana

Gorgeous shot! I love the green tones, and the rolling hills. I think placing the fence post in the foreground was a good choice!

Many different pictures in this scene Robert. IMHO I would have ignored the post and plant and just shown the interesting BG. Very sharp and clear too.
Well done
