Hi Hestu,
Borobudur is a magic place, I visited it several years ago. Thanks for your shot, almost mystic that there's always fog in the back when I see shots - and it also was when I were there. Thanks, show us more, bye

Hi Hestu. Welcome to TL. I like to see this place through your lens and hope to visit it one day. I hear it is virtually another eigth wonder of the world. tfs. Murray.
Ah, Borobodur, I want to visit Indonesia so badly. I took a course on Southeast Asian art and archaeology and we spent at least two class sessions on Borobodur alone, it's absolutely fascinating and breathtaking. Really interesting point of view used here from the temple itself, looking out at the rainforest and mountains beyond and below. I like how you included parts of the stone banisters and mini-stupas to "frame" the background scene with the structures of the temple. It gives wonderful context and also makes this shot unique and distinct from the formulaic method of: stand in front of the main entrance of temple, look straight at it, take a picture.... Excellent balance and composition with the steps of the banister and stupas framed, the highest part of it at the right side, balancing with the dark cloud and high mountains at the upper left. Beautiful natural colors and tones, although I do thing the contrast could have been increased slightly to really make it pop out. Also try to avoid that slight tilt you have there in the shot. But really beautiful and incredibly unique, it makes me want to visit that temple more and more. Looks heavenly, thanks for sharing!
