[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This red rose is growing on a very old rose bush in the garden. It is a climbing rose and has only very rarely been pruned, yet it produces beautiful blood, red flowers. I have never known its variety as it was a present from a relative many years ago. I would be very interested if anyone could recognise it and tell what it is called.

really a nice rose, the red is not easy to reproduce, I have often some problem, but yours is well focused and absolutely neat. I don't know the name, but "stat rosa pristina nomine, nomina nuda tenemus"...

Hi Bev, sorry I can't help you out with the name either...there are so many roses that shade of red. This colour (or any red rose for that matter) is one I cannot reproduce. Nicely composed, lovely soft focus and good detail. TFS,
