Split Personality Theme - First Try
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I noticed this theme on the site, and thought I'd give it a try.
The center image was taken last summer (2004). I made three copies of the image, then used Photoshop to split my face along my nose line, then copied one side, pasted and flipped the side horizontally. I did the same thing for the other side of the face and, voila!
I may try this again with a different image in a few days. I think the main reason for the disparity between the two sides is due to the fact that I'm not facing the camera dead on.
I pasted the three images into a larger canvas in Photoshop, added the text, and sharpened it before reducing the image dimensions and saving it. |

well, I'd say - welcome to theme! and welcome to my alien family! :)
i got smth similar to your's here. and also just because i didn't look straight into camera. but - who sais that's not good? at least - different!
i like this one!
I have to say the "real" Mikey is much more friendly looking! I really like the differences here, the smile is interesting in the clones. Well done, and welcome to the "split club"
That's a funky try. Nice job, but you're right, I believe you'd get better results when facing the camera straight. Still, interesting post.
