Hi Thomas.
Excellent shot with an awesome mood in that storm coming. I do feel the kitesurfer gets a little lost and is not the interest as you have named your photo Rider on the Storm.
I have done a workshop for you with another composition that brings the rider closer into the left bottom corner which catches the eye first but you can still see all the elements that makes this a great shot. I have not re-done the framing, only a crop. Hope you like.

Fantastic - so much drama in this shot. Beautiful light and textbook composition, and the contrast of the kite against the bluish clouds is very striking.

Genialer Schuss, Thomas. Dieser STreifen Licht, der auf den Protagonisten fällt, diese düstere und dennoch unendlichen Spass versprechende Wolkenwand... Himmlisch. Rider on the storm... Fav.
