[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
What a rare chance this photo was. I was waiting to photograph some water skiers when I noticed a large fish surfacing and swimming around. We walked over to see what it was and I was suprised to see it was a nice sized Northern Pike. Since I had my 100-300mm lens on and the camera set for high speed mode I raised the camera, focused, fired off 2 shots and it was gone. This is the second shot that I took. He raised up as if to take one big breath and then dove under. One more second and I would have missed this.
