[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have had this sitting on the harddisk for some time. I didn't know what it was about, I just liked looking at it. It was taken at a sea-side restaurant in Denmark south of Copenhagen on a summer's day. And suddenly tonight, while looking at it, I started humming a very old song by Bob Dylan called "Farewell Angelina". I looked up the lyrics and understood why:

There's no need for anger
There's no need for blame
There's nothing to prove
Ev'rything's still the same
Just a table standing empty
By the edge of the sea
Farewell Angelina
The sky is trembling
And I must leave

It really is a nice song, if you have never heard it.

This one was saturated and sharpened a bit after resizing - my traditional method.

I don't know the song (yet) Per, but I'll search for it on the net. I like this shot, not so much for the table and chairs, but for the bushes beside it, and for the see-through towards the sea. Just nit-picking here, but IMO the horizon is not straight. Anyway, TFS. Hope your harddisk has enough capacity ;o).

Wau Per sikken idyl her flot flot. Her kunne jeg godt spise. Lækre grønne farver og skar billede flot Per.

Hi Per, I don't know the song, but find the image very interesting. I like how the trees frame the view of the water. The colours, composition and note are very good.
TFS

I find this photo very strong because of two reasons:first the tablecloth is mentally a reflection of your sky. When we look at the picture we first see the tablecloth and then the mind brings us to the sky.Second,if you noticed, the legs of the chairs are going in the same direction of the two trees on the left side...again the mind follow inconsciously the same direction.Very intersting photo!

Très invitant...champêtre...la vue sur la mer est romantique...belle composition....

Goes as well whith the Dylan'tune.
Very well done for the choice and the composition.

How well this scene fits into the words of the song, especially the part of the empty table. I like the way this shows two scenes; first the seating arrangement, and then the eye follows across the view of the sea. Very romantic piece of your homeland.
How's the snow in your area. It has stopped here now after two days continuously falling. Pretty, but we are tired of shovelling now.
