Meet my groovy Daddy :D

His vanity level is like double or triple mine. He cant leave the house without spraying himself some perfume or putting pomade in his thinning hair.

He's matinik sa chicks, unfortunately di ko naman yun (naks! Hi langga!) pero buti na lang namana ko good looks nya. He told us that during his heydays, he was once mistaken as Fernando Poe, im not sure if Sr. or Jr. :D

Heh ... he certainly is that! And it's a great portrait of him. Excellent light, sharp and crisp and with very good use of the fill-flash to balance everything out. Maybe a little more camera-pan to the right, but it's a great shot!

Hi Richard,
There's a hidden depth to this portrait that isn't evident from the thumbnail - the clean lines and chic clothing plus the quirky shades and hat are in contrast to the implied seriousness of the shadowed figure. A great tribute to your dad and you the photographer.

Kakaiyak naman bro...

I don't know when I will see my father again. When the time comes, will he still be alive? We live so very far away from eachother. :(

Last time I saw him, he was in the middle of recovery from 2nd stroke attack.

If I am given a chance, I will take a photo of him similar to yours.
