[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Zebra (Equus Burchelli) was standing about 5 meters from me when I took this picture in the Etosha National Park in the north of Namibia.

What a life must it be, to be black and white in a world of colour!

Beautiful shot.. Good idea a B/W mode... Well done!

Great. this "natural" b&w picture is very well composed.

Great tones, framing, and use of pattern.

Hi Dirk.
Wow! Great (almost obvious) choice of B&W. Great composition. Making just a detail of the Zebra gives it almost an abstract feel. Very well done.
Regards, Steve.

Very good close-up of the zebra. B&W sits fine with this animal. I like the abstract line.

Hi Dirk,
Everything is right in this picture - good crop - nice texture on his skin and of course a good choise for B&W, because otherwise brown could have been distracting.

hi Dirk
I like your friend. The B&W idea is a good choise.
have a nice day
bye Aga

Excellent Zebra shot. They are, as my friend Frik says, flat animals if you do not find an interesting angle. You got a great one. Rhythms, curves, contrast... - all very well handled. Composition excellent. Good one Dirk!

Ciao Dirk,
what a beautiful monochromatic idea! This is really a beautiful image very well composed.

Hi Dirk

Awesome! LOve it!

The B&W could hardly be better applied for an animal other than the zebra.

Well composed and thought out. TFS.

Martyn

Very nice composition, well done! TFS :)
