[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After cleaning the sensor yesterday I needed a sky test and was surprised by an intense rainbow caused by a small local storm and the position of the setting sky, just above the horizon. By the time I found a more appealing foreground to go with the rainbow, the main subject had faded. Still a nice, simple image. Of course, the polarizing filter enhanced the color quite dramatically.
Happy Canada Day everyone!

It isn't often that you get to see all the colours this clearly in a photograph.
Sharp and clear.
Well done!

Hello Roland,

Well composed and beautiful rainbow!
I never see recently these colorful rainbow.
It's successful about the contrast between green trees and dopy sky in the entire image, I think.
And, it's better the raibow that it starts from lower right is changing from thick to thin on color and finishes upper left corner of frame.

Regards,
mikio

Hello Roland
Wasn't that rainbow just what you needed and nicely done - colors just jump off my monitor, great contrast with the trees.
Thanks for the comments on my lady bugs, much appreciated.

Regards
Dan

Hi Roland,
I never have seen a rainbow so luminous. Well done. Greetings from Belgium.

Hi Roland,
Beautiful rainbow! A well composed and framed scene in the vertical format. Look great, and it looks like you got your sensor clean (Now can you do mine? Many dust bunnies)
