[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One from my archive. I haven't held a camera in my hand for 2 weeks, a combination of being busy at work and then being ill( I haven't even been on TL much!!). And the weather hasn't helped either...

Anyway, this was one I found on an early morning walk around Amsterdam. I know the word Doof =deaf and niet accepteren = not accept, but what does the POT mean in this context? I am confused...help

Hi Chris,

Nice observation.
The word POT can mean a lebienne but in this case is ment a box were to put all secrets in to disappear. It comes from the verb "uitdoven", put out a fire.
