[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Rose garden shot was taken at Point Defiance Park. While I wanted to spend the whole day exploring the park, the good lady wanted to have a relaxing stroll around the rose garden.........she won!!!!

This focal point of Point Defiance Park has more than an acre of rose gardens, the oldest of which was established in 1895. The site includes a garden of miniature roses, arbors of climbing roses, a picturesque wishing well and quaint gazebos. From June through September more than 1,500 rose bushes provide a rainbow of colors including many variegated combinations. The garden is accredited by the American Rose Society as an All American Rose selection display garden. The Tacoma Rose Society provides continuing support and maintenance assistance.

I think it could use some contrast; it looks a bit too harsh in sunlight. Beautiful flowers and nice framing.

Beautiful contrasted and coloured photo! Very good composition with the path leading us towards the pavilion. The cloudy sky is a efficient counterpoint to these many colors! Bravo! Annie

Great composition with the path leading the eye through the picture and I like the contrast between the sky and the flowers. Lighting may be a bit harsh but that would be a minor niggle!
