This is the last shot I will show you of Wheal Kitty mine (thanks for the name goes to thegraduate!) I like this shot as its not often you can catch nice reflections in the SEA!!
I didn't get my feet wet to take this shot - the tide was very uneven at this point and was much lower where I was stood...
I had to time the picture just right after a wave had come up so that the water was flat enough to reflect...
I like that you can see some waves over to the left

PP work - I did remove another small building from the horizon to the right of the mine - it just looked like a blob!

Great way to end the series. Well done...the mine pictures have been interesting and enjoyable to see.
This is almost like panning out at the end of a movie...a fitting way to close...
A very worthwhile theme and a tribute to another way of life. Imagine the buzz that these miners must have got when they cloked off work on a fine summer evening...

Hi, Kat.

Another very nice picture of this tin mine. Wonderful reflections too.

My only criticism is that it looks as though there is a little haze at the left end of the cliffs: I don't know if that's perhaps due to some lens flare - were you shooting a bit into the sun?

Lukasz has done a fine workshop but I think he's maybe overdone the contrast a wee bit and made the reflections a bit too harsh - I like the dreamy look of the reflections in your original picture. The frame, too, has shrunk the picture quite a bit.

Very well done!

Best Wishes,

John.

Hi Kat,
Excellent shot, nice colours and I like the position of the mine in the shot, your timeing was perfect with a great reflection, I have done a little WS for you, hope you like it.

A good play of diagonals. The building with the chimney adds the little extra needed to make one look again. Well done, Kat, and TFS! - Cheers, Cordelia :)

superb pov here, tfs and like the mirror effects!

Great landscape shot, and 10/10 for the POV and capturing the reflection of the mine. The muted colours work well.
Thanks for sharing
Mark
